PLASTAKES Liberia Incorporated is an environmental organization striving to discourage pollution, reduce plastic littering and the single use of plastic.
Additionally, to avoid pollution in the environment and entrapment of marine vertebrates and invertebrates in the ocean, we extract plastic & wastes from the ecosystem for recycling. The deal is to stop plastic waste before it reaches the ocean and landfill.
Through our advocacy and education on pollution effects, waste management and climate change, we create jobs for unemployed and disadvantage youths.
We also promote the concept of environmental sound waste management and engage policy makers to introduce and encourage material circularity in Liberia that will thereby reduce pollution and waste.
Climate change is a growing concern. In this direction, we collaborate with governments and organizations to support programs that inform communities on actions to initiate that will mitigate the associated risk couple with this global issue.
Founded in 2023 as a commitment to create awareness and take action in saving the planet after reading courses and obtaining certifications on the planet provided by CMA CGM Academy, TANGRAM / Imperial College, UNITAR and United Nations System Staff College.
