The Play Network, originally Play Entertainment, started off in the year 2008 as a group of luxury lifestyle destinations in Nigeria’s top commercial cities - Lagos, Abuja, Calabar, Owerri and Jos, cutting across the nightlife and hospitality industries, with a strict target audience of the top 1- 5% of Nigeria’s elite. The Play Network Africa has gone ahead since then, to expand her reach recently through outstanding movie productions across Africa, with our first project being ‘Living in Bondage: the Sequel’ which won 7 awards including the Best Nollywood Movie in 2019 at the Africa Magic Viewer’s Choice Awards (AMVCA) in Lagos.
