Playful Pups Retreat is a dog resort located in Elizabethtown, PA. We have two locations offering premium care for your furry family member. Our team of pet care professionals care for your dog with love, compassion, lots of fun and of course...tons of belly rubs!!
Our Milton Grove Rd location opened in 2010 and is situated on 19 acres and offers personalized overnight lodging with a wide array of enriching activities tailored to meet your dog's needs. We also offer bathing services, so your pup goes home fresh and clean after their doggie vacation. Because having a well-mannered pup is important to pet parents, we also offer a 2 week intensive Stay & Train program.
Our Hershey Rd location is our Doggie Daycare and Training Center. We know every dog is unique, so we offer three doggie daycare programs...Traditional Daycare, Enrichment Daycare and Puppy Social Skills daycare. Our training team is ready to help set your dog up for a lifetime of success with one of our "pawsome" dog training programs!
We offer a training program called A to Z Day Training, and our innovative Pawsitive Experiences Program that was designed specifically to meet the needs of shy, nervous, anxious dogs who are lacking confidence or may have been under socialized. Playful Pups also offers a wide variety of fun group classes.
Our owner, Laurie Yost, is a certified Operator through the Professional Animal Care Certification Council and she and our team are certified in pet first aid and CPR. We take pet care seriously, so at this time 16 of our team members, including our management team, are Fear Free Certified as well.
