Our project offers to combine industrialization and self-building until a complete house is built out of modules and prefabricated elements.
This concept must allow us to assemble industrialized elements on the site, as well as to move them and assemble differently as in the LEGO; We then named our project « PLUG & LIVE ».The Plug and Live Project is clearly a new way of living, a module-based construction configuration and a combining industrialization and self-building.
The whole project will follow the future evolution of the final user needs and its potential is to develop a module offer market in a cyclical economy.Our team designed the project by combining technology and ecological products in order to obtain an autonomous construction in electricity and water.
Plug & live house is designed to work individually, all systems will be tested before the competition and during the first manufacturing in our University to ensure synergy between the systems : the priority is given to Energy efficiency and water conservation in design choices.
