PPZ – these three letters stand for the Polo Park Zurich and at the same time for entrepreneurial spirit, innovation and development. Since it was founded in 1998, the Polo Park Zurich has developed into the polo club with the most members and the most important training center for polo in all of Switzerland.
The Polo Park Zurich is located between Ohringen near Winterthur and Hettlingen on the edge of the Zurich wine country (only 20 minutes by car from Zurich). The more than 7,5 hectare flat area made it possible to create a large main field and secondary fields on which games can be played from May to the end of September.
Since spring 2017, the horses are housed in the club's own stables and in surrounding farms. The ponies are cared for, educated and trained by Argentinian grooms.
Thanks to its welcoming clubhouse, PPZ extends well beyond polo activities. Internal club events give our members the opportunity to expand their network, exchange ideas and tell and hear inspiring stories.
Over the years, the Polo Park & Country Club Zurich and its members have developed into a family that is constantly growing.
