The Polymer Engineering department started its independent activity after being separated from the Chemical Engineering department in 2008.
The main goal of the department is planned to train engineers at postgraduate levels (M.Sc. and Ph.D.) at several aspects of the polymer engineering which are currently subdivided into fields of Polymer Technology, Polymerization Engineering, Nanostructured Polymeric Materials, Biocompatible Polymers, Paint and Coatings.
