We have done technology transfer to some of India’s biggest infrastructure companies, power plants, SEZ and gated communities to ensure they build better roads and hard stands.
Our technology reduces, and replaces to great extent, the requirement of filling, sub base and base layer as well as bituminous layers because of which it helps in saving time, money and resources. We have been marketing the technology in India for the last 15 years and it has been successfully implemented in more than 100 projects, spread across the country.
The Advantages of Constructing roads using Soiltech are :
· Faster Construction of Roads – By using a Soiltech stabilized layer to replace multiple layers, the time taken to construct roads is reduced significantly. The method of construction is simple and can be implemented by any road contractor. The equipment required is basic and minimal.
· Better quality of Roads - The base layer which is stabilized by Soiltech has a CBR of more than 60 and is less susceptible to damage as compared to a GSB/WMM layer. The design of the pavement is derived from IRC 37 specifications and converted to a Soiltech stabilized pavement.
· Economical - The use of Soiltech in road construction ensures the cost of the road is approx 20% cheaper than a conventional road.
· Environment Friendly – Soiltech is a non-hazardous polymer and does not harm the surrounding environment it is used in. Soiltech stabilization uses negligible amounts of aggregate as compared to traditional road construction. There is a minimal amount of carbon emissions to produce Soiltech and therefore takes care of the global implications to the environment too.
