PomBioTech has specialized on the production of drug metabolites synthesized by human cytochromes P450 and human UDP-glucuronosyltransferases (UGT). Using recombinant fission yeast strains (Schizosaccharomyces pombe) we are able to biotechnologically produce custom made metabolites including cytochrome P450 and UGT metabolites (glucuronides) up to technical scale (mg to 100 g range). In addition to this we offer a variety of glucuronides and cytochrome P450 metabolites for use as reference standards (e.g. for LC/MS and LC/MS-MS). All reference standards can also be labeled with either deuterium or C13.
