POPLAB Innovation & Startup Hub is a student-led organization under the guidance of the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship and the Institute of Mechatronic Intelligent Systems at Henan Polytechnic University. We are dedicated to cultivating innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurial thinking among students, with a strong focus on bridging the gap between academic research and industrial application.
Our core areas include New Engineering, the Internet of Things (IoT), and Intelligent Manufacturing. Through interdisciplinary collaboration, brainstorming sessions, real-world projects, and startup incubation, POPLAB provides students with hands-on opportunities to explore future-oriented technologies and business models.
We have organized over 10 innovation and entrepreneurship workshops, mentored more than 200 students, and co-hosted online tech lectures reaching 30,000+ viewers nationwide. Our team has earned multiple provincial and national awards, including a Gold Prize in the "Challenge Cup" and a Bronze Award in the national "Internet+" competition.
Recognized as an “Outstanding Innovation Club” by the China Information Association’s iCAN platform in 2022, POPLAB continues to build strong industry-academic partnerships and contribute to China’s innovation-driven development.
