Promoting the fruits, vegetables and flowers of Portugal is the main objective of Portugal Fresh, the portuguese Association for the Promotion of Fruits, Vegetables and Flowers, not only inside the country, but also in an international perspective. Portugal Fresh’s motivation is based on conquering relevance to the horticultural sector, proactively working in order to promote exportations and improve the fruits and vegetables consumption, especially near the younger ones. The association’s ambition is to state itself as the Portugal “Umbrella Brand”, getting a more and more important role in the international context and making our members grow.

A Associação para a Promoção das Frutas, Legumes e Flores de Portugal, constituída a 6 de dezembro de 2010, nasceu da necessidade/oportunidade, sentida pelo próprio tecido empresarial, de evidenciar o potencial dos produtos nacionais. Apostando numa nova abordagem promocional da qualidade e unicidade do que é português, a Portugal Fresh foi pensada no âmbito de unir as empresas do setor em prol de um objetivo comum – a valorização da origem “Portugal” e das características dos nossos produtos.
A essência de frescura, sabor e autenticidade dos produtos nacionais está agora materializada num conceito que pretende representar Portugal numa perspetiva de valorização e cooperação, pensada para posicionar este setor como chave para o desenvolvimento da economia nacional.
Assim, a associação pretende afirmar-se como a marca chapéu “Portugal”, assumindo um papel cada mais relevante no contexto internacional, de forma a acrescentar valor para os seus associados.
