PowHer House is an award winning female lead film production company established in December 2020 to fill the void in Hollywood of films and television being created for and by the African Diaspora. Our aim is to focus on highlighting non-stereotypical Black characters and voices and also exploring relationships between Africans, African Americans and others of the Disapora worldwide. Additionally, we will strive to uplift other silenced voices and images throughout the BiPOC community. We are not a monolith! We don't all look, feel, think, live or act one way and it's time for our diversity to be in the spotlight.
