Powwow architects is a small office in central Oslo with over 40 years experience in architectural practice.
We work in both small and large scale projects - from small cabins and kindergartens to office and apartment buildings. We are experienced in all phases of planning and construction, from early concept and feasibility studies through to the final built form, and offer professional guidance throughout the approval processes.
Powwow architects have a collaborative approach to design. We strive to find smart and simple solutions to complex tasks and be efficient in our use of resources - in materials, spatial programme and economy.
We do not have a defined style, preferring to work together with the client and the context of the task to find the richness in each project. Our approach to architecture is open and playful, and we enjoy collaborating with other disciplines to find new and fresh solutions.
We are skilled in construction, detailing and technical regulations. Combined with an understanding of aesthetics and form, we aim to create designs that are rational, functional and beautiful.
In our practice we are committed to crafting gentle architecture that is sympathetic to its surroundings and precise in its detailling.

We are curious and analytical, working to understand existing structures and find innovative ways to give them new life. Our goal is to mend, repair and improve the existing condition.
