Acquisition Support & Integration:
Supported a Michigan Based Family Company with the identification, evaluation, and subsequent integration of a new Brand of business into an existing operation. A team of experts created the full bill of materials for a multi-SKU brand, and launched them in an existing enterprise resource planning system, set-up and launched a third-party manufacturer, and worked with the sales team to launch the products under the new corporate flag.
Management Turnaround:
Led the turnaround of a Midwest Manufacturing Company operating under the protection of the courts and achieved a sale to a Private Equity Investment Group. Recruited and developed a sales team to capture new clients while operating in a severe cash-constrained environment. Introduced new tools for management including a 13-week cash flow model. The business moved from cash flow negative to cash flow positive and remains successful a decade later.
New Product Development:
Developed a process for consumer insights to form a baseline for new product development. Created an NPD screen to gauge the market size, the investment required, and financial returns to prioritize new product launches. The client was operating at 34% gross margins and successfully launched new products.
Supply Chain Optimization:
Created a fully integrated, stagnant, manufacturing and marketing company to a Growth Brand Marketing Company by redesigning the Brand Marketing Management Structure, recruiting and training the new management team, and closing the existing manufacturing operations and transitioning the production to a third party contract manufacturing company.
Strategic Plan Development:
Supported the development of a strategic plan for a South African manufacturing company with desires to grow and and expand. Ran visioning training workshops, and coached key managers.
