Preserve Our Roots is a youth-led NGO dedicated to educating and mobilizing young people to protect the environment and drive sustainable change. Our mission is to empower the next generation of climate advocates by offering practical solutions, workshops, and community-driven initiatives that address local and global environmental challenges.
Founded on the belief that young people have the power to reverse the effects of climate change, we engage youth through hands-on environmental activities such as beach clean-ups, tree planting, and community outreach projects. Through our ongoing campaigns: #NationBuilding, #FightGlobalWarmingNigeria, #TalentsForGood and the G.R.E.E.N Initiative, as well as, our various completed campaigns including the #FloodReliefAidDrive that rebuilt two schools that were torn down due to Nigeria's 2021 flash floods, we are fostering a new wave of changemakers passionate about preserving the earth and shaping a sustainable future.
