Meu nome é Vanessa, tenho 38 anos, sou oriunda da periferia da cidade de São Paulo, Zona Sul. Terceira filha de mãe solo. Cresci no Centro Assistencial Cruz de Malta, uma instituição que atende crianças em situação de vulnerabilidade na região do Jabaquara. Desenvolvi apreço pelas artes ainda na infância. Em 2006 entrei na Belas Artes pelo PROUNI, me formei em Publicidade. Em 2017 criei a Preta Ilustra, um lugar seguro para além da periferia. Venho unindo a arte e a publicidade em trajetórias ilustradas, protagonizando um legado artístico preto e feminino.
