2013 yılında kurulmuş olan PRF-ARGE; Profesyonel, Güçlü, Hassas gereksinimlere çözüm üreten bir kuruluştur. Kurucusu Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi Elektrik Elektronik Bölümü Öğretim Üyesi Prof. Dr. Şimşek DEMİR’dir. Bu yönüyle PRF, deneyimli kadrosunun yanı sıra akademik bilgi birikimine dayanan; araştırma ve geliştirmeyi yaratıcı çözümler ve interdisipliner yaklaşımı ile birlikte teknoloji ve akademiyi birleştirerek kullanan ve bunun Ar-Ge ye sağladığı katma değerinin önemini kavramış bir firmadır. PRF devre elamanı seviyesinden sistem seviyesine, • Tasarım • Prototip üretim • Ölçüm • Karakterizasyon • Seri üretim yapmaktadır. Frekans spektrumunda HF bölgesinden milimetrik dalgalara (1MHz’ten THz’e kadar) uygulamalar sunmaktadır. Firmada kurulu ölçüm ve üretim altyapısı K bandına kadar mevcut olmakla beraber daha yüksek frekanslı uygulamalar için üretim ve ölçüm amaçlı iş birlikleri yaptığı kurumlar mevcuttur. Uygulama alanı olarak; • Haberleşme Sistemleri • Uydu ve Aviyonik Sistemleri • Güvenlik Sistemleri • Sivil ve Askeri Elektronik Sistemleri ön plana çıkmakla beraber biyomedikal algılama ve görüntüleme sistemlerinden, anten elemanı ve anten dizisi tasarımına kadar deneyimleri bulunmaktadır. & PRF R&D, established in 2013, is a company, which comes up with solutions to requirements for “Professional, Powerful, Precise RF“.
