Pride For Youth Initiative was formed in 2018 by a group of transwomen sex workers activists to fight for recognition, respect and protection of trans women human rights in Uganda, with a vision to having an ‘An informed, inclusive and educated Ugandan community where all transwomen sex workers are involved and accepted to access their social, economic and political rights in the fullness of their potential. PFYIN seeks to address issues preventing transwomen from fully enjoying their human rights like the rest of the population with a major focus on 4 thematic areas include; Health rights advocacy and health services delivery, Human and legal rights advocacy, economic Justice and institutional strengthening.

To create a Ugandan society that understands and accepts different gender expressions and works to promote human rights, economic empowerment, and equal access to health services for Transwomen sex workers.
