doMino is an interdisciplinary project aimed to develop efficient mixed matrix membranes based on purposely synthesized (per-)fluorinated metal organic frameworks for the treatment of large amounts of CO2 and to promote them for the reduction of green gas house emission and a sustainable development of industrial processes.
doMino is supported by Research Units with complementary backgrounds, located across the three Italian macro regions: two CNR institutes, CNR-ITM (Calabria), the project coordinator unit, with expertise in membrane preparation, characterization, testing and modeling and CNR-ICCOM (Toscana) with expertise in advanced spectroscopic characterization of materials; UniPI (Toscana) and UniPG (Umbria) with complementary skills in the synthesis of novel (per-)fluorinated metal organic frameworks; UniTO (Piemonte) with expertise in advanced multi-technique characterization and molecular modeling of porous materials and study of adsorption phenomena.
