Founded spontaneously through a network of local 3D printers and volunteers, we provided free personal protective equipment (PPE) to healthcare workers in the DC area, and beyond.
As a network of 200 registered volunteers, our community 3d printed, disinfected, assembled, packaged, and donated over 16,000 parts to medical professionals across the dc area.
While we are still accepting and fulfilling some request for ppe, much of Print to Protect’s operations have been paused. We thank all the printers, sponsors, drivers, assemblers, and organizers who were instrumental to our work . Stay safe, and wear a mask!
