Printed Houses

The mobile construction 3D printer is a concept for a system that allows for printing concrete walls layer by layer, with the base moving around the construction field. The goal behind this design was to remove the constraints on size of the buildings printed with 3D concrete printers that are a consequence of a rigid base fixture and restricted nozzle movement. Adding extra degrees of freedom to the system with a successful innovative project will make the building process faster and more affordable.
