PrintoLUX® - On the way to become an industrial standard
New standards only develop when the old has served its purpose and the new functions better without "ifs and buts". In industrial marking, this means above all process simplification. And PrintoLUX® can claim this award for itself. It is versatile (different shield materials, outside and inside the control cabinet, standard software) and overcomes previous traditional processes such as screen printing, mechanical or laser engraving in terms of variety, quality and costs.
Digitization as the core of change
The technical core of this development is defined by digitization. It has already changed many areas of work. Classical offset printing and photography are among the best known. Digitization has now also reached industrial labelling, with sometimes dramatic consequences for an innovation-resistant labelling industry. Traditional craftsmanship is being replaced by software in many areas. For example, the actual production of labels requires only a fraction of the time previously required.
The digital print-based PrintoLUX® process has set new standards for the production of industrially used labels. Compared to conventional processes, savings of over 50 percent are not uncommon. Digitization means quality improvement and process simplification at the same time. This double progress - quality up, costs down - is something we are helping to shape.
