Our Mission:
Connecting prisoners to the employment resources they need to succeed on the outside.
We connect inmates to employers! Prison to Employment Connection is offered to inmates at San Quentin State Prison who are either close to their scheduled release dates or have upcoming Parole Board Hearings. When inmates successfully complete the rigorous 12 week curriculum, they are invited to a job fair.
Co-Founder and Executive Director, Diana Williams began her work at San Quentin by volunteering with the California Reentry Program. It was there that she connected with Mr. Butler, who wanted to create a program to help inmates get jobs after release.
