We believe in a waste-free environment until it becomes a habit nurturing a healthy generation in the Saudi community. Mission We achieve our vision by consistently engaging the Saudi community in physical activity and regularly organized events. Our signature sport is Plogging and we have divided it into city, beach, hike, and scuba plogs through which environmentally-friendly tools are used. Events are split into workshops, bazars, programs, initiatives, and international days that run on a monthly basis in collaboration with international and local partners. What is Plogging? Plogging is a swedish term originating from the swedish phrase “plocka up” which means “to pick up - combined with the English word “jogging”. Plogging is the sport with an environmental dimension. With jogging and picking up trash, we add purpose to our walking, jogging, and hiking and help sustain our eco-friendly message. All our collections make their way to recycling and reuse streams. The destination concerns the environment while the journey is athletic. Who is Hejaz Ploggers? We are a committed team united to restoring the environmental dimension into our lifestyles and ultimately shape and build sustainable habits that improve the quality of life around the vast demographic. Acknowledging that everyone is connected under one sky allows us to understand that every action has an equal and opposite reaction that will affect us one way or another. We could choose to improve the reaction if the action is improved. One result we noticed is that Plogging not just improves our health but impacts the health of people around us too. In the end, we strive to better our Saudi culture, one that could sustain its being across continuous evolutions.
