Procon Drum Motors are designed for use in the food processing industry; their smooth surface is lacking holes and cavities, wich makes thourough cleaning an easy job.
A unique design feature of Procon drum motors is that they are not oil filled. The transmission is built in an enclosed housing within the drum motor and filled with a high performance grease to lubricate the steel gears. This layout makes loss of lubricant nearly impossible.
