We are a dependency of the Academic Direction of the National University of Colombia Manizales, created as a technology development center focused on Industry 4.0 and academia, advancing in the Development of Video Games, projects focused on Extended Realities, Photogrammetry, 3D Printing, Machine Learning, Data Science, IoT, Artificial Intelligence among others, providing solutions to My SMEs and large companies; as well as training Students, Teachers and Trainers in STEAM methodologies. In addition, we have established significant collaborations, including joint projects with the French Embassy in Colombia, the Faculty of Nursing of the Universidad Nacional Sede Bogotá, agreements with the Universidad de la Sabana, the Instituto Técnico la Salle, Parques Nacionales Naturales and developments sold to companies such as ICREA, the Alexander Von Humbolt University of Armenia and United Way.
Since our inception in 2019, Aula STEM FabLab has undergone a remarkable transformation, evolving into a prototyping hub with regional and national reach. Our focus has expanded to encompass three different provisions: Commercial, Social and Educational. Currently, the STEM Classroom is in the process of expanding to three more sites of the National University of Colombia, located in Tumaco, Medellin and Bogota.
