Progressive Credit Union is a full-service financial co-operative located in Central and Western New Brunswick with over 7,000 members and over $100 million in assets under direct and indirect administration.
While PCU was formed as the result of a merger in 2010, its roots go back to 1938 when one of the original credit unions was founded. Today, our Credit Union has three branches located in Fredericton, Woodstock and Centreville, NB. That being said, we are connected globally in order to provide our members with access to their accounts everywhere they go.
As a Credit Union, we are owned and controlled by the people who do business with us. This means that we are community based and community focused. We have a commitment to providing the best possible financial guidance to our members and are equally committed to supporting our communities to the best of our abilities. In the past year alone, we supported more than 40 service organizations in our areas.
Surpluses are either reinvested in our organization or are shared with our members.
