Project Fankaari aims to uplift dying art forms of India, beginning with helping the potters' community who suffer from myriad problems. The low pricing of their products, seasonal demand and competition from other items like artificial diyas makes it difficult for them to improve their economic status.
Through Fankaari, we wish to provide these potters, a year-round source of income. In the process, we also aim to deal with the problem of single-use food packaging by replacing it with terracotta packaging, which is not only sustainable but also has various health benefits.
