Trees have been identified as a means of addressing to a large extent these issues because trees help in improving the appearance of the streets whilst providing cooling and shading against extreme heat. They also absorb noise, carbon emissions, provide oxygen, moisture and can also help build sustainable means of livelihood for people living in the rural area.
The project plant One Million Trees as a unique tree planting project targeted at communities and schools in both rural and urban areas, with the aim that they will transfer their knowledge on tree planting practices to the larger society for environmental protection, preservation, and also for healthy learning and living environment for our students and the society at large.
Planting tree is a systematic model for reducing carbon emissions in communities and schools. On this project we are going to plant fruit trees.
Fruit Trees can also help in achieving nutrient requirements among-st school children. By supporting this course and identifying the importance of tree planting in schools, that will not only reduce carbon emission but contribute to a healthier environment for the students.
