Prolabin & Tefarm S.r.l. was born in 2008 as spin-off of the University of Perugia, with the aim of transfer the knowledge obtained in 30 years of accademic research, in the field of design and synthesis of innovative nanostructured inorganic materials. Prolabin & Tefarm (P&T) is a company specialized in synthesis, production and functionalization of biocompatible lamellar solids: hydrotalcite and zirconium phosphate/phosphonate.
These lamellar solids are innovative compounds that can be used as:
-nanostructuring polymer addititives
-raw materials and carrier of active ingredients in cosmetic, nutraceutical, pharmaceutical field
-heterogeneuos catalysts and other special applications.
Prolabin & Tefarm researchers posses a solid know-how in the synthesis, functionalization and application of lamellar solids. P&T mission is the transfer of knowledge in the industrial field, in order to reach innovation respecting the environment.
