Academic Scouting Tool - one of the core products - is a unique tool in the academic sector. It does not encroach on any contractual obligations that an institution may have with academic recruitment websites, as it directs attractive candidates to job postings. As such we are excited and pleased to offer the following package. Also, we have the Prophy Research Tools. Prophy INC uses semantic technologies, artificial intelligence, and natural language processing to build a semantic representation of the texts and to create their unique “digital fingerprints”. This allows for a flexible and versatile way to retrieve documents with precisely specified research topics; build expertise profiles of researchers, groups, and laboratories; identify experts for proposals and committees. The analysis roots in Prophy’s own large-scale academic knowledge base including: ● Over 135M publication records across domains from natural to social to life-sciences, including information about authorship, affiliations, citations, etc.; ● Over 30M open-access documents, including also full texts; ● Over 60M researchers’ profiles, automatically built and verified by users; ● The cross-domain ontology of scientific concepts (more than 100k concepts). Our service uses the European Research Council, University of Geneve, Simons Centre, and many other institutions, and feedback have been excellent, with academics becoming big advocates for the system.
