Prosper in Peace Memory Care Overview

Prosper in Peace (PiP) is an innovative, holistic approach to dementia care with a focus on the resident living a productive and enjoyable life to the best of their abilities - mindful memory care. The PiP campus will accommodate 20 residents: 10 lower-acuity assisted living duplex apartments and 10 private bedrooms in a centrally located home for those who require more consistent supervision. On site will be desert wildflower-lined walkways that lead to the neighbors' homes for visits as well as the community businesses. These businesses are part of the facility and provide continuity in daily activities in which the residents have always engaged: grabbing a coffee and pastry while reading the morning paper, meeting a friend for a matinee movie, or heading over to the salon for a haircut or manicure. This village lifestyle is designed to give our residents a greater quality of life, within the safety of the campus, as they navigate this new phase. All staff in the community will be specially trained and certified in dementia care, including the cooks and groundskeeper, enabling them to tailor their interactions for the maximum benefit of the residents. The founder/owner will also live within walking distance to ensure the highest level of care is delivered at all times.
