Prostate Health Matters (PHM) was created to provide underserved communities with prostate health resilience strategies for life after cancer. This includes fostering awareness and proactivity in men of their prostate health with a primary focus of getting men to see their doctors. PHM generates a safe space with real conversations for men through educational, shared survivor stories, and interactive sessions highlighting prostate cancer treatment centers and cancer support services through shared survivor stories between DC-MD-VA, NJ, and NYC.
Since 2020, we have reached over 3,685 men during our in-person and virtual interactive sessions and have supported PSA screening in over 385 men between the DMV and NYC areas.
