Protopia Group

Protopia Group aims to facilitate conversations about ideas and methods to kickstart and promote economic progress and growth worldwide. We were founded in 2024 out of the belief that a strong growth trajectory and the ability to make consistent progress are crucial for the flourishing of humanity. As future leaders of tomorrow, young professionals bring fresh and interesting perspectives to the table and are uniquely positioned to contribute to the ongoing international debate about fighting against the creeping malaise of stagnation. Our research is focused on productivity, infrastructure, and people, corresponding to the traditional ‘production function’ of an economy—total factor productivity, capital, and labour. Along those lines, we are working on multiple areas of research, including notes outlining original insights about growth and innovation, articles analysing growth policies and proposals across the world using data and theoretical reasoning, and essays delving into the history, philosophy, and praxis of growth and human flourishing. Our ambition is to connect thinkers, academia, industry, policymakers, and young professionals across the world for important discussions about progress and growth. Currently, we are working on organising events to discuss growth and progress with world-leading experts in a friendly environment. In the future, we hope to advise organisations about leveraging best practices for economic growth in the future.
