This year at the American Academy of Ophthalmology show, we unveiled our new name. PSI/EYE-KO, Inc. is now doing business as Anodyne Surgical. Our tradition of quality, value, and service since 1981 will continue. We are still the only privately held ophthalmic cannula maker in the US continuously owned by the founder for over a quarter of a century.
Our dedication to healthcare is better reflected in our new name. “Anodyne” is defined as a source of soothing comfort or capable of soothing or eliminating pain. This vision reflects our commitment to the medical community professionals we serve. Furthermore, we strive to ensure that we are flexible, responsive, and easy to work with. We want you to feel the comfort of doing business with us.
We were established as a quality private label manufacturer of reusable cannulas and hand held instruments for ophthalmology. In 1986 we began the transition to single use cannulas and hand held instruments. Today, we sell our products direct to the end user and distribute our products internationally through independent dealers with coverage across Western Europe, Australia, and the Middle East.
