PT GCL Indo Tenaga (abbreviated as PT GCLIT) is an Independent Power Producer (IPP) company formed to develop the National Strategic Project for the PLTU Kalbar-1 site with a capacity of 2x100 MW. PT GCLIT, which was founded on February 25 2016, is a joint-venture company between Taicang Harbor Golden Concord Electric-Generation (GCL), a majority subsidiary of Golden Concord Holdings Limited (“GCL Group”), and PT Putra Indo Tenaga (PIT), a subsidiary of PT PLN Indonesia Power (PLN IP), which is also affiliated with PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) Persero.
