Any behaviour your dog performs that is rewarded will be repeated. A reward doesn’t have to be food, it can be anything your dog wants including toys, affection and play with other dogs.
At Puppy School we use this technique to show owners how to teach their dog the life skills they need so the owner has a well behaved, happy dog that is a pleasure to own. We believe training should be a enjoyable experience for both the dog and his owner as they work as a team. No harsh training methods are used or allowed in class.
