"Hospital PUSRAWI was established in 1984, initially providing outpatient services at Wisma Baitulmal, Jalan Ipoh, Kuala Lumpur.
In line with its growth, PUSRAWI Hospital moved to a new building at Jalan Tun Razak, Kuala Lumpur, which officially opened on January 16, 2006. The opening ceremony was officiated by His Majesty the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Watiqu Billah Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Ibni the late Sultan Mahmud Al-Muktafi Billah Shah.
A wholly-owned subsidiary of the Federal Territory Islamic Religious Council (MAIWP), the hospital currently has a capacity of 164 licensed beds.
As an ibadah-friendly hospital, PUSRAWI has earned several prestigious recognitions, including the Malaysia Society for Quality Health (MSQH) accreditation, MS ISO 9001:2008 certification, the Baby Friendly Hospital certification, and the Idea Award Islamic Distinguished Entrepreneur Award 2023 in the Best Islamic Hospital category.
