Tango is a classic French péniche, 100 ft long, with 6’5” ceiling height throughout. Tango features a spacious salon with comfortable leather sofas and dining table, a sun deck with spa tub as well as a canopied dining deck, and four cabins, all with an ensuite bath. Tango offers private charter cruises for 4-8 passengers.
Built in 1931, the barge transported grain on France’s waterways until commercial barging was replaced by trucking in the 1980s. Tango was retired in a canalside town when discovered by a 13-year-old Daniel Sak. Daniel fulfilled his dream, buying the former cargo barge and transforming it into a luxurious floating hotel, offering private charter river cruises for 4 to 8 passengers in France's stunning Bordeaux wine region.
