Qesadila.com Overview

Qesadila took third place in the "Protection of citizens and democracy" category in the HacktheVirus hackathon organized by the European Commission in competition with more than 2,100 projects and with the participation of more than 21,000 participants. It received the support of Czechinvest and we presented it to the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic and the Minister. In 2023, the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic proposed the introduction of remote voting for members of municipal councils. This will allow the use of the Qesadila service at the level of municipalities and cities even if one of the representatives cannot personally participate in the deliberations of the council. We are proud that, with the help of Qesadila, in the time of Covid, we have indicated a path that strengthens the representativeness of the decisions of the councils and strengthens democracy.
