QMU Film Society Overview

The society is a space for students from all courses and years to get experience in filmmaking and explore world cinema through regular film screenings and events. Workshops and guest speakers from the film industry give professional insights into skills and experience needed for future careers. Social events on campus and in Edinburgh create a welcoming space for cinephiles and emerging filmmakers to network together and discover film festivals and institutions in Edinburgh and Scotland. We aim to make the film society an inclusive space that is LGBTQIA+-, neurodiversity-, mental health- and disability-friendly.
