Quanta Junior was founded on March 18, 1997, by undergraduate students from UNICAMP’s Physics program, making it the first Junior Enterprise in Brazil to operate in the field of physics.
Today, we are a group of students from the Physics, Statistics, and Mathematics programs at UNICAMP, actively engaged in the Junior Enterprise Movement, which aims to develop committed leaders capable of transforming Brazil. We have been instrumental in establishing mathematics within the junior enterprise ecosystem, completing projects with various companies. This impact has led us to be recognized as the Outstanding Junior Enterprise among over 150 junior enterprises in São Paulo in 2019.
Located at the Gleb Wataghin Institute of Physics (IFGW), we are a nonprofit civil association with the primary goal of fostering the professional development of our members. We strive to reshape the perception of professionals in Physics, Statistics, and Mathematics, turning today’s students into professionals capable of operating across various market areas: Information Systems, Data Analysis, Machine Learning, Dashboards, Web Scraping, and Process Automation.
