QCAC is a new organization at Queen's University dedicated to raising awareness and promoting education on the topic of concussions (or traumatic brain injuries). As an "invisible injury" concussions are often incorrectly represented and understood, often thought to be of little significance, exclusively related to sports, and with no long lasting consequences.
Through education, support, providing resources and hosting events within the Queen's community QCAC is working to break the stigma surrounding concussions and provide students and community members with the education and tools to make healthy choices surrounding their physical and mental health as it relates to concussions.
