The R21 Foundation empowers The 21st Century Performing Arts Renaissance by supporting innovation, education, research, and technology, which in turn will permanently improve the artistic and financial sustainability of the entire performing arts ecosystem. PURPOSE The purpose of the foundation is to support people and companies who work to create new structures, initiatives and projects that rejuvenate the world of performing arts.. This is done by supporting innovation, education, research, and technology which in turn will permanently improve the artistic and financial sustainability of the performing arts throughout the entire ecosystem. In addition, it is to ensure a better global outreach for new audiences, encompassing all of the performing arts disciplines. Including all of the above, it is the foundation’s purpose to; • Promote projects that provide significant improvements in the performing arts infrastructure. • Promote projects that enhance the monetary and artistic value of intellectual property. • Promote research projects that are in line with the foundation’s goals. • Promote projects that aim to attract new audiences through artistic and educational efforts. • Promote projects aimed at producing innovative artistic content in various performing arts disciplines • Distribute scholarships to people who have made a significant contribution to the foundation’s purpose. • Run our own projects whose goals fulfill the foundation’s purpose. • Collaborate with other foundations and funds both nationally and internationally.
