Railsponsible is an industry initiative, with the aim to continuously improve sustainability practices throughout the railway sector. The initiative was launched in 2015 and is currently facilitated by H&Z Management Consulting and its sustainability platform and community SUSTAINX.
Our vision is a global railway ecosytem where all companies and their suppliers have in place good ethical, social, environmental and business practices. By sharing best practices, building capabilities and promoting transparency along the value chain, we aim to improve environmental and social practices within the railway sector and to meet increasing stakeholder requirements.
With a major focus on procurement practices, Railsponsible focuses on the effective analysis of supply chain related CSR practices and on improving the sustainability practices of all companies along the value chain.
The initiative is open to all railway operators and companies across the railway sector value chain, along with key industry associations, that share its vision, mission and commitments.
