RAMcare Overview

RAMcare (Rapid Access Medical Care) leverages emerging technology to deliver timely health care to Canadians that meets, and often exceeds, traditional standards of care. Residents of retirement communities are among the first patient populations to benefit from RAMcare's provision of immediate access to comprehensive medical care. Through partnerships with retirement homes, RAMcare's medical practitioners have alleviated many burdens presently placed on residents, their families, and retirement home staff. RAMcare was founded through a collaboration between two Ontario physician-innovators. In 2017, it was recognized as a top medical innovation by Joule, a subsidiary of the Canadian Medical Association.
