O Ramo Estudantil IEEE UFF é um grupo sem fins lucrativos gerido por e para estudantes de graduação e pós-graduação da Universidade Federal Fluminense. Fundado em 1982 e reaberto em 2011, o Ramo Estudantil IEEE UFF faz parte da rede IEEE, a maior organização profissional do mundo, e promove atividades extracurriculares de complemento, extensão e aplicação do conhecimento acadêmico com o objetivo de gerar novas e melhores oportunidades de aprendizado a toda comunidade acadêmica.
Atualmente, nós temos 3 capítulos técnicos: IAS UFF (Aplicações Industriais), PES UFF (Potência e Energia) e CS/EPS (Computação e Empacotamento Eletrônico); 2 grupos de afinidade: WIE (Mulheres na Engenharia) e SIGHT (Tecnologia Humanitária); 1 equipe de competição em foguetemodelismo: LUFFT; 1 equipe de conversação em inglês: SPEAK UP; além de comitês administrativos e projetos técnicos e sociais.
