Raymond James (USA) Ltd. (RJLU) is a Canadian corporation headquartered in Vancouver, BC. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Raymond James Ltd. (RJL). RJLU is a broker-dealer registered with FINRA and the SEC, and also operates as a registered investment advisor with the SEC. Although it accesses the Canadian securities markets, its clients are mainly U.S. residents. It is not registered in Canada as a Canadian dealer.

Established in 1962, Raymond James Financial made its initial public offering in 1983 and is listed on the New York Stock Exchange using the ticker symbol RJF. Raymond James (USA) Ltd. also offers a private client wealth management platform with multi-currency capabilities. The platform is designed to provide U.S. residents access to the Canadian securities markets, allowing them to hold assets in foreign currencies. Business is conducted by a fully U.S. registered sales force and home office staff. RJLU also supports Canadian residents who maintain legacy IRA or 401(k) accounts in the United States.
