RDI Irrigation

RDI is a complete subsurface irrigation system with plant-responsive technology delivering water directly to the plant roots as they need. The RDI tape, when filled with water, creates the perfect irrigation tube. Its surface is composed by millions of micropores and its interior is infused with a hydrophilic polymer. When plants release chemical exudates as a sign of water demand, the tape reacts chemically by breaking the molecular bond and triggering the flow of water through the micropores. RDI’ s nature driven technology uses 30 to 50% less water than Standard Subsurface Irrigation and 90% less than all others Surface Irrigation. Produces 40% more and better yields.
