Real Riverside FC is a Community Grass-Roots Football Team, based in South Birmingham. RRFC was formed in July 2003 by Roger Lynch and members of Riverside church.
The Club has 2 teams which both play in the Birmingham Amateur Football Association league.Our A team play in Division 5, having been promoted for the 2nd consecutive season whilst our B team currently play in Division 8.
The Club aims to give players of varying abilities the chance to express their God-given talents, develop as players and individuals and offer them the opportunity to explore the Christian faith. In 10 years the Club has helped more than 15 team members to complete an FA Coaching badge.
Real Riverside is proud to have won the 'Eric Cash sportsmanship trophy' for the season 2008-2009, which was awarded to the club with the best disciplinary record out of 140 teams in all 10 divisions.
In July 2010 Real Riverside became an FA Charter Standard Club.
