Realworks is a provider-led fund focused on innovation in addiction treatment. The fund invests in and manages pilots of new technologies that have the potential for immediate impact as well as scale at a national level - using the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky region as the “lab” for figuring out what works.
The work is funded and driven by a consortium of local providers committed to impact through innovation - including BrightView, Center for Addiction Treatment, Greater Cincinnati Behavioral Health, St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Talbert House and Transitions - with additional support from Interact for Health and Mercy Health.
Realworks was launched and continues to be led by 17a, a public sector strategy firm with expertise in behavioral health service delivery and health innovation.
This is a totally new model for innovation in addiction services at a time when it is needed more than ever.
